Additional information

With the series TAL, Jaemin Lee has created masks that act as homes in the form of beautiful and terrifying birdhouses. The artistically created small spaces present the world with a fearsome mask, a warning to those who can recognize those faces, that simultaneously give shelter to those whose own homes humanity could destroy. «My intention was to create small spaces where birds can find refuge, opportunities for them to create families and stop the obviously inevitable with my means. And man should not disturb as far as possible. To put it succinctly, I built birdhouses. Moreover, I wanted to cultivate this idea. Worldwide, I have now hung 30 birdhouses on trees by my own hand.» (Jaemin Lee)

Melancholy helps to be creatively and artistically active.
