TheArtists invites to a studio visit with Renata Rara Kaminska in Berlin
on Saturday, 5 March 2022, at 4 p.m.

Through sculpture, installation and video, Renata Rara Kaminska’s works examine the marks made by the individual, society and shifting power structures on public space and how they become part of ashared memory. We are very grateful that the artist is willing to welcome us at her studio. Martin Heller from TheArtists and Renata Rara Kaminska will open a conversation and all participants are most welcome to join in.

Please let us know by 2 March if you would like to attend by writing to: email hidden; JavaScript is required

When confirming your registration we will inform you about the address of the studio. Please only attend if you are fully vaccinated or recovered and wear a mask. The usual regulations apply.

TheArtists is an ongoing invitation to get acquainted with unknown positions, diverse practices and to get to know artists. Studio visits are one of our endeavors to support artists because we know that experiencing artworks and learning about the artist’s practice is a sure-fire way to fall in love with an artist or an artwork. This can be the beginning of a journey, always exciting and always enriching.

Renata Rara Kaminska is part of TheArtists’ Selection #2 curated by Slavs and Tatars. Find out more about Kaminska’s work and discover Slavs and Tatars' Selection.

In the last weeks we were pleased to read more articles about TheArtists and Lumbung Gallery! Amy Bradford wrote that «TheArtists presents an exciting opportunity to discover and invest in emerging global talents» in AD. In the FAZ Georg Imdahl wrote about the Lumbung Gallery after talking to Martin Heller, co-founder of TheArtists. And on Artnet Kate Brown calls Lumbung Gallery an «Invigorating Alternative to a Market-Driven Art World.» Thank you everyone!

We are thrilled about more coverage of TheArtists in online and print media: Lampoon Magazine published an article by Sahadev Chhetri, based on an interview with TheArtists co-founder Beat Raeber. A review by Christiane Meixner was printed in Der Tagesspiegel and Annika von Taube wrote an enjoyable text in Monopol which resulted in many positive feedbacks already. Thank you for making our efforts widely known!
