«Traffic and Time is from the project Zwischen Lagos und Berlin which highlights experiences and observations gotten from living and working in Lagos, Nigeria, and Berlin, Germany. It tells of the change between cultures and the political and social questions that are connected with it: Mobility, migration, stereotypes, homesickness, religion, the division between rich and poor. It functions as a visual diary with a mix of fictive and non-fictive elements.» Karo Akpokiere
The work is printed on 310g Hahnemühle matt paper.
Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, graphic design and textiles presented through print and electronic media, played a significant role in the formation of my visual identity.
